In a world where most are consumed by endless commitments and routine, dreams often take a back seat. As successful businesspeople and full-time MBA students, our team believes that we can effectively leverage our travelling and motor biking experiences as well as team solidarity to prove that you can successfully marry business careers and outdoor passion to achieve something remarkable in aid of the Save the Children (registered charity number: 213890).
The London Business School Team is planning to undertake the challenging 60-day journey from London to Vladivostok. The trip is ‘one-way’ meaning that we will ride all the way there and then take a plane back. The team consists of 2 riders (Luca and Anu) and 3 additional support crews (Eduardo, Louise and Joanna) who are helping organize the project and will keep everybody updated once on the way. We will cross Asia completely unaided by support vehicles or anyone else, apart from the contacts we make along the way and our own ingenuity. We have estimated that our total route will cover around 20,000 km. We will cross France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. Our departure date is set to the 27th of April and we aim to be back by the 1st of July.
